Lost dog? How to trigger a community alert on Lumea Blănosilor
When your pet goes missing, panic is natural — but the first hours matter most. An organised search dramatically improves reunion odds. Instead of only paper flyers, you can mobilise Lumea Blănosilor's digital community in minutes.
Whether you are in Bucharest or another Romanian city, neighbours and fellow pet owners who are already out walking become extra eyes — especially when alerts and links spread instantly on phones and WhatsApp.
1. What the Lost Blănos button does
With an eligible Pack plan (clients) or provider subscription that includes the feature, you trigger Lost Blănos from your account. The platform uses your pet's digital record: photo, size, colour, distinctive marks and last known area.
Registered users get in-app notifications (and push if enabled). Anyone can open the alert page and share the link further — including local Facebook or WhatsApp groups.
2. Community sightings
People who spot a matching dog can submit a sighting on the alert page. The owner receives updates in their account and can confirm or decline reports — without dozens of calls blocking the phone.
3. Do this in parallel
Update the microchip registry (RECS) via a vet clinic, keep a phone number on the tag, and contact local shelters.
For urgent clinic lookup, Family or Pack includes Urgență Blănos (nearby vets on a map). It does not replace 112 or calling a clinic directly in a severe emergency.
Create your account, fill the cloud pet record, and activate Pack if you want the community alert ready before a crisis.
